Art Project: (15 points)

I'm giving you free rein for this prompt, so you can draw anything that was mentioned in the lesson. This could be a cool new mask, a piece of pottery, a random painting you got inspiration for, a design for a piece of jewelry you wished existed, etc... If drawing something is difficult for you, please feel free to describe it, just do so colorfully and be very detailed in at least 150 words.

Artistic Research: (15 points)

For this option, go find some interesting facts about an artist. Your artist could be someone who decorated buildings, was known for their beautiful pottery, a painter, etc... I'm not asking for a report on this person's life; rather, I want a running list of facts you find interesting, funny, or weird about them. Minimum of 100 words so I don't get a one sentence explanation, but please do give some awesome information.

Movie Time: (20 points)

Find a video about a famous painting and tell me which video you watched (include the url) and your thoughts on it - What did you think of the painting? Did the video say anything you found odd or interesting? Have you seen the painting before? Why do you think the artist painted it? Minimum 50 word description.

Changing Art: (15 points)

Find a famous painting from one of the eras we discussed. Include the artist's name, the name of the painting, and when it was painted (put an approximate date if it's unknown). Now, in at least 100 words (not including the information you need to include above), what would you change about the painting? This could be anything. Maybe you don't like the way the sky was painted, the color of the boat, the lady's dress, the man's cane, the design of the house, etc...
